first of all, welcome to the blogging community. I think you&#039;ll find that this is going to serve you well, as long as you are writing with passion, which, so far, I think you are. 

Secondly, thanks for the shout out. I can&#039;t stress it enough, networking is so important! National conference got me Penelope as my mentor, who lead me to SXSW where I met Adam Keats, SVP of the Digital practice at Weber Shandwick. And the rest, as they day, is history. 

A note to your readers: it&#039;s important to develop the design skills and writing skills, because those are the core of your knowlegde base. I can speak from experience that at least in an agency world, your first internship/position will be a TON of research (and some grunt work if you aren&#039;t specialized). If anyone has questions about the transition, relocating, or agency life, feel free to shoot me an email!
